Reading is very important in the lives of children. In fifth grade, part of the daily homework assignment is to read a minimum of 15 minutes at home. Please be sure that your child is completing his/her daily reading assignment. The children should be bringing home an assignment book/planner, and along with the assignments they write in, there is a section to record their reading homework. If your child wants to read more than 15 minutes, that is terrific. Readers are leaders!!
